About the job
At Maayasthra, you’ll work on high-visibility brand assets across digital platforms. This role is for someone who can take abstract ideas and turn them into sharp, meaningful visuals while pushing creative boundaries and maintaining a strong, consistent design language.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create visually strong, concept-driven designs that communicate ideas effectively
2. Demonstrate a strong sense of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy across all outputs
3. Push creative boundaries while staying aligned with brand identity
4. Develop versatile design solutions across different formats and use cases
5. Collaborate with internal teams to bring ideas to life with clarity and precision
6. Iterate quickly while maintaining a high standard of design quality
7. Stay updated with design trends and tools, and apply them thoughtfully
Who Can Apply:
1. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in graphic design (can be overlooked if you have a strong portfolio)
2. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across different styles and formats
3. Proficiency in Photoshop or Illustrator, and Figma (non-negotiable)
4. Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
5. Ability to take ownership and deliver independently

Other requirements
1. Experience working with brand guidelines or structured design systems
2.Ability to explore and experiment with AI tools in the design workflow
3. Strong articulation of design decisions, the ability to explain the “why”
4. Someone who is constantly learning and actively pushing their design skills
