About the job

Roles & Responsibilities of a Telecaller
1. Outbound & Inbound Calling
Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers to inform them about products/services.
Handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Follow predefined scripts while maintaining a natural and engaging conversation tone.
2. Lead Generation & Qualification
Identify and generate new leads through cold calling.
Qualify prospects based on business requirements and interest level.
Schedule appointments or pass qualified leads to the sales team.
3. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Maintain a positive attitude and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Handle objections and resolve customer concerns effectively.
4. Product/Service Promotion
Clearly explain product or service features, benefits, and pricing.
Persuade customers to purchase or take desired actions.
Upsell or cross-sell products where relevant.
5. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of calls, customer interactions, and outcomes in CRM systems.
Update customer databases regularly.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on call activities and conversions.
6. Target Achievement
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call targets.
Achieve conversion and sales goals set by the organization.
Continuously improve performance metrics like call quality and closure rate.
7. Follow-ups & Closures
Conduct timely follow-ups with interested prospects.
Ensure proper closure of leads and customer queries.
Coordinate with internal teams for successful service delivery.
8. Compliance & Process Adherence
Follow company policies, scripts, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of customer data.
Ensure ethical communication practices.
