About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Design and implement desktop automation systems for Windows-based engineering software using Python
2. Build and optimize automation workflows using computer-use agents and traditional automation libraries
3. Develop FastAPI services to orchestrate automation processes and handle concurrent requests
4. Manage Windows process lifecycles and address environment-specific failure modes
5. Conduct integration testing across customer environments to identify and resolve system-level issues
6. Develop testing frameworks and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting automation workflows
7. Reverse-engineer software interfaces to enable automation of complex engineering applications
8. Diagnose and fix calculation and integration issues related to software versions and system configurations
9. Support development of lightweight UI components for diagnostics and configuration where required
10. Collaborate with teams to ensure reliable deployment and performance of automation systems

Other requirements
1. Strong proficiency in Python including OOP, async programming, subprocess management, and testing
2. Experience with FastAPI, SQLite, and backend service development
3. Familiarity with Windows automation tools such as pywin32, pywinauto, comtypes, or UIAutomation
4. Knowledge of prompt engineering and structured instruction design for computer-use agents
5. Experience with LLM-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, and system design
6. Understanding of frontend basics including JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like NextJS
7. Familiarity with development tools including Git, CLI, and CI/CD workflows
8. Ability to use agentic coding tools effectively to accelerate development cycles
9. Enrollment in third-year or final-year undergraduate programs or recent graduates
10. Experience in building automation tools, desktop applications, or RPA workflows
11. Exposure to computer-use agents or automation frameworks in real-world projects
12. Strong problem-solving ability demonstrated through projects, competitions, or system-level work
13. High academic performance combined with hands-on technical experience
14. Knowledge of C#/.NET, Windows services, or reverse-engineering techniques is beneficial
15. Familiarity with engineering software domains is an added advantage

4. Working hours are primarily asynchronous with a daily 30-minute standup between 8–11 AM IST
5. Internship duration is 3 months with a stipend ranging from ₹75,000 to ₹1,25,000 per month
