Human Resources Internship – Training Database \& HRIS Focus
Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with a primary focus on updating and maintaining the training database in Bamboo.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain the training database with accurate records of employee training, certifications, and training requirements.
- Assist Director in organizing and uploading training requirements for every position at the Mack Technologies – Melbourne, Florida facility.
- Help prepare training reports and compliance documentation for audits using Excel.
Qualifications
- Current student at an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Business Administration, HR or equivalent field.
- Must be an active undergraduate student (junior or senior year) preferably with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0 or above.
- Basic understanding of a HR Principles, confidentiality (HIPPAA/GDPR-level handling of sensitive data) and compliance concepts.
- Strong attention to detail with database and data analysis experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data tracking \& reporting); experience with HRIS, LMS (e.g., Bamboo, Workday or Similar HRIS software).
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively as a team member.
- Schedule Monday – Friday is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, during Internship.
- US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120\.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees and those given asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty) since work includes ITAR controlled technical data.
